Caliber.Venus178 Circa 1963,17 Jewels Caliber Venus 178 . Chronograph 1/5th second, 30 minutes and 12 hours. The watch keeps good time and all function works well. Full winding keep it going full 2 days and few hours. The diameter of the watch head is approx. 41mm. In 1963, Before travel to space the watch had to pass extreme tough tests carried out by NASA. The watch is steel three peice case,The watch has a plastic glass, and is a 100% original breitling, the watch don't have its box and papers .The watch has its original dial with original hands,logo name ,Comes on a leather breitling strap with a breitling buckle.machanical movement calibra Venus 178,.breitling button.watch has been proffesionlly cleaned and serviced.Watch is in very nice conditions and is ideal for someone's collection  

Model: 1963 Breitling Navitimer, model #806. Signed on dial, crown, case-back and movement.
Case: All stainless steel. Snap-on caseback. Case diameter: 41mm excl. crown, 44mm incl. crown. Crown diameter: 6.5mm, lugs: 22mm.
Movement: Venus cal. 178 integrated chronograph , manual wind, 17 jewels, 18,000 bph. Incabloc shock protection.
Crystal: Domed acrylic crystal covering bi-directional rotating bezel incorporating circular slide rule.

STRAP: New Original Breitling calf with steel Breitling Buckle

Water resistance: NO.
Subregisters: 30 minute (jumping hand) and 12 hour totalisators at 3 o'clock and 6 o'clock respectively. Running seconds at 9 o'clock. All subregisters dished with fine circular rings and blued steel hands. Centre sweep chronograph seconds hand. Tritium paint on hour markers and hour and minute hands.
Case finish:  Number 973550 Combination of mirror polished finish on bezel, top of lugs, pushers, crown and outer ring of case-back; brushed satin or milled finish elsewhere.
Power reserve: 36.5 hours if chrono is off
