A Much sought after vintage Omega stainless steel wrist watch, made in  1934. This example is in very good condition and one of the better examples I've seen in many years.very fine and rare rectangular staybrite gentleman's wristwatch. A two piece-body,polish and brushed,bezel overlapping straight lugs, crownset in band, concave back, dust cap, arabic numerals,outer minute track, sunk subsidiary seconds dial, blue steel Cal. T17, tonneau-shaped,15 jewels, lateral lever escapement, cut bimetallic Dia. 22 x 39.7 mm. thickness 9 mm.

Was launched in the mid 1930's. The case of this watch is designed to afford maixmum protection to the movement and was made at a time when Omega devoted a great deal of effort to case and design, In order to ensure that its movement were properly protected.
