A HMuch sought after Lemania Air Ministry chronograph watch, issued British air force. This example is in very good condition and one of the better examples I've seen in many years. Two register chronograph with continuous seconds at 9 and 30 minute recorder at 3. Issued in the late 40's or early 50's but hard to tell as this was issued before they started stamping the dates on the back. It does however have the full military ordinance numbers which read H.S.9 2743and has got the broad arrow stamp and broad arrow Overall condition very good with ORIGINAL dial The watch comes with a Nato Band . The watch is in working order. Highly collectable and hard to find. Excellent condition Lemania single pusher HS 9 chronograph issued in the late 1940's. due to the unique styling, the simple and uncluttered dial design. Single button chronograph function for simplicity of use when in flight, and of course one of the best movements in the world as Lemania were and still are one of the biggest manufacturers of chronograph movements. This one has the Lemania calibre 13 chronograph movement. Symmetrical beautifully shaped case with wide lugs, thick case and large winding crown with . The dial and hands are in superb condition. The HS9 marks on the back have been struck out and replaced with later 2743 (navy) issue numbers . This will be due to the fact that the watch has been re-issued within the military. Light wear to the case form normal use. Width 38 mm excluding crown, 41 mm including crown, 45 mm lug to lug and 14 mm thick.
